I don’t think so. @solana remains the go-to choice for many #DePIN projects. Ultimately, the products and the market will determine whether certain projects need a standalone chain or not. At least within @cosmoshub, I’d much rather see one #chain holding $1B in liquidity than ten #chains each with $100M. This includes @osmosiszone, @NolusProtocol, or even @Jackal_Protocol. Only projects with specific, strong use cases justify having their own #appchains. Some good examples: @celestia for DA @Sagaxyz__ for chainlets @dymension & @initia for settlement @OndoFinance, @noble_xyz, and possibly @MANTRA_Chain for #RWA Maybe this sounds politically incorrect, but it only makes sense to consider building a new #L1 or #L2 if your #cosmos chain’s blocks are actually being fully utilized. If no one is using your product even as a #dApp at the beginning, it’s probably a good sign that you shouldn't start creating a blockchain.
