For the past 4+ years, I’ve operated as WhisperNode: running validators, supporting testnets, bootstrapping ecosystems, and working deep in the trenches of Web3 infrastructure. Today, I’m excited to share that I’ve joined @flipsidecrypto as an Account Executive where I’ll help protocols grow smarter using data, incentives, and strategy. Here’s what that means for WhisperNode and why it’s a natural evolution of everything I’ve done up to now. ⸻——————————————— My Web3 journey started long before nodes: as a community member and ambassador for a small privacy project called Enigma, now @SecretNetwork. I believed privacy was essential to crypto adoption so I got involved. I contributed, I organized, I helped @TorBair with growth initiatives, and I helped launch the Secret Agents ambassador program (shoutout to all the agents, leads, and everyone in the secret ecosystem…I was going to tag but am missing so many handles) Back then, we didn’t have @Galxe or @zealy_io. We built from scratch experimenting with incentives, rewards, and reputation-based systems. We built quests and were working with a custom questing platform before it was even a thing. We learned what actually works: Find the people who care, give them purpose, reward them accordingly. That program was a success because we manually identified the most valuable community members and empowered them. Secret went from $.20 -> $10 during this time; many factors leading to that trajectory. @flipsidecrypto lets teams do the same but growing so much more at scale, using data, creating sustainable narratives and activations, and soon by implementing AI 🤐🤫 ⸻———————————————- That’s what drew me to Flipside.
