@ItsDave_ADA You heard right :) The node operator pays a fixed Cardano L1 fee to post a Midgard block header onto L1. As that block includes many Midgard txs (A→B, C→D), the fixed posting cost gets shared across all those txs. So, cost per tx goes down as number of tx goes up.
