it depends on what we mean by MPC and who is doing the computation if it's 2PC the communication is between the user and a node which high (for example in renegade) but if it's mpc (npc) and user just encrypts it but the communication is on the mpc nodes side, it doesn't really affect the user. for instance, in Fairblock, users only encrypt their tx once (it takes 5ms), without any further communication, and the validators take care of the communication (also since we use TIBE and CKKS) the communication is scalable)
