@BetruetoitUK @PakoVM People join Ocean because they are mislead into believing its decentralized. Also with Ocean+DATUM it allows any miner on Ocean to easily bypass any policy filter they want.

@boyacaxa @RamboNTanga @start9labs @ocean_mining Not if you use DATUM. Each miner creates their own block templates and announces blocks on the network. All Ocean does at that point is split rewards which is the only thing a pool should be doing.

Well. Luke is advocating for Core stop with the BS and give node runners the tools to choose whatever configuration we choose so and yes including filtering op_returns passing through mempool and not relay garbage from our own node. What incentives or benefits Ocean gain from this is total irrelevant for me personally. False cause and magician hand fallacy. I care that optionality is not removed from the software I am running. Specially knowing that down the line this is the gateway for subversive takeover from central forces.
